Josh Bridges Gives a Tour of His New Garage Gym
Josh Bridges is one of the all-time great CrossFit Games competitors. His top career finishes are a silver medal at the 2011 Games and a fourth-place finish in 2014. Since leaving competitive CrossFit, Bridges became a co-host of a podcast with five-time Fittest Man on Earth® Mat Fraser and Sevan Matossian and made his professional boxer debut against fellow CrossFitter Jacob Heppner in September 2021.
On June 28, 2022, Bridges was featured in a video on Rogue’s YouTube channel, wherein he gives a tour of his new garage gym tricked out with everything one might expect to find in a CrossFit box. Check it out below:

The Garage Gym
Bridges is sponsored by Rogue Fitness alongside other big-name CrossFit athletes, like Fraser, two-time Fittest Woman on Earth® Annie Thorisdottir, two-time Fittest Woman on Earth® Katrin Tanya Davidsdottir, Margaux Alvarez, former Fittest Woman on Earth® Sam Briggs, Ben Smith, Haley Adams, reigning Fittest Man on Earth® Justin Medeiros, four-time Fittest Man on Earth® Rich Froning, Cole Sager, Dan Bailey, Sara Sigmundsdottir, Lauren Fisher, Matt Chan, Jonne Koski, Chris Spealler, Jason Khalipa, Graham Holmberg, Mikko Salo, and reigning five-time Fittest Woman on Earth® Tia-Clair Toomey. As such, much of Bridges’ equipement is from Rogue.
The opening piece of equipment shown in Bridges’ tour is his Rogue Echo Bike, which Bridges touts as the one piece of go-to equipment necessary for any gym. He moves on to the bevy of kettlebells that ascend in weight from 35 to 124 pounds — the latter would be extremely heavy to perform any type of swing with but effective for improving grip strength in farmer’s carries.
Bridges is seen on camera lifting a 200-pound sandbag over his shoulder. He also has 150-pound and 100-pound sandbags. They sit along the wall next to the slough of red slam balls Bridges uses for rotational drills.

Several GORUCK weighted vests also adorn the walls of Bridges’ home gym. They’re used to up the intensity of runs, walks, carries, and pretty much anything else for distance. Although he forewent a rack for them, Bridges has a set of dumbbells up to 100 pounds at his disposal when he trains from home. Everything from dumbbell snatches to dumbbell bench presses:
You got to go big right? Go big or go home.
For more cardio, the new garage gym is outfitted with a TrueForm™ Runner, which is a contoured treadmill to lessen the impact on the knees. The staple GHD machine has its own corner of the garage next to the treadmill. In lieu of a stair machine, Bridges has a Jacob’s Ladder machine, which mimics the experience of climbing a ladder on an angle — if the bear crawl met the stair climber.Mira TambiénLos Factores determinantes para aumentar masa muscular sin grasa
A full squat rack is where Bridges does his barbell training, including back squats, front squats, rack pulls, and the built-in pull-up bar is convenient for toes-to-bar, pull-ups, muscle-ups, and dead hang training for grip. The camera pans across the garage for a final sweep of the new gym, a banner featuring negatives of a trio of skulls and the slogan "weak legs equal weak minds" drapes the back wall.

Heading into Bridges’ basement, another squat rack adorned with gymnastic rings and bumper plates is the centerpiece. Another Echo Bike, GHD machine, and ski erg have their nook opposite a barbell tree in the far corner, next to a cold plunge.Mira TambiénLos mitos mas comunes del levantamiento de pesas
Even though Bridges won’t be competing at the 2022 CrossFit Games in Madison, WI, on Aug. 3-7, 2022, he is still maintaining his conditioning and strength. Where and in what sport Bridges will compete next is a mystery, but his fitness will undoubtedly be intact.
