Bobbie Butters, Donna Berglund, and Joy Nnamani (57KG) Each Hit an IPF Raw World Record at 2022 IPF World Classic Championships

The 2022 International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) World Classic Championships taking place in Sun City, South Africa, from June 6-11, 2022, have seen a plethora of IPF raw world records shattered. On June 8, 2022, the Women’s 57-kilogram class took to the lifting platform, and all three big lifts saw a never before seen weight locked out. Bobbie Butters of Great Britain hit an IPF world record squat of 183 kilograms (403.5 pounds), Donna Berglund of Sweden scored an IPF world record bench press of 123 kilograms (271.2 pounds), and Joy Nnamani lifted an IPF world record deadlift of 228 kilograms (502.7 pounds) to win the gold and match her IPF world record total.

Despite the world records, Butters finished with the bronze, and Berglund missed the podium. Below are the full results of the Women’s 57-kilogram class:

2022 IPF World Classic Championships — Women’s 57-Kilograms
